Refund policy

Because Brewlant produces fresh, small-batch roasted, perishable coffee, all sales are final. However, we want every customer to be satisfied. Please review the policy below.

1. No Returns on Perishable Goods

Coffee is a food-grade, perishable product. For safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Opened or sealed coffee bags
  • Limited micro-lot releases
  • Sale items
  • Items damaged after delivery
  • Taste preference issues
  • Incorrect variants chosen by the customer (grind, roast, etc.)

All coffee purchases are final sale.

2. Order Errors or Wrong Item Received

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and photos of the product received

We will either:

  • Resend the correct item, or
  • Issue store credit
  • Shipping for replacements is covered by Brewlant.

3. Damaged Items

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours
  • Include clear photos of the product and packaging
  • Depending on availability (especially for micro-lots), we will:

Replace the item at no cost, or Provide store credit

4. Lost Packages

If the carrier confirms a package is lost:

  • Brewlant will reship the order or issue store credit.

If tracking shows "Delivered," a carrier investigation must be completed before a resolution.

5. Incorrect Addresses

If the customer enters an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Brewlant is not responsible for replacement or refund.
  • If the order is returned to us, reshipping fees apply.

This includes orders that no longer meet free-shipping thresholds after address correction.

6. Refunds for Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except when:
  • Brewlant shipped the wrong item
  • Brewlant confirms an internal fulfillment error

Free-shipping thresholds:

  • Ontario: Free shipping over $55 CAD
  • Rest of Canada: Free shipping over $75 CAD
  • If a partial refund brings the order below these thresholds, the original shipping cost may be deducted.

7. Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation within 1 hours of placing an order if it has not been roasted or shipped. Once roasting or shipping starts, the order cannot be canceled.
